Bio and Summary

Rick has 17 years of experience as a technologist, much of that as a consultant working for clients such as First Call / Thomson Financial, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Scientific American Medicine, Digital Equipment Corporation, Lotus Development, Apple Computer, and Polaroid.

Rick's focus has been on providing software and systems solutions for his clients. He has worked on a broad range of assignments, including consulting on systems design and development processes, Asian globalization and localization projects, and software development for the Internet and desktop applications.

His recent roles as Director of Technology, CTO, and CIO build upon his broad experience as a programmer, project manager, and solutions architect.

Rick has also been an early evaluator of technology: developing for PDAs in 1995, developing for the Internet in 1996, coding in Java in 1997, writing a wireless application in 1998, and participating in the creation of an XML standard in 1999.
